My Penguin

My penguin means the world to me, because when  I got him it was one of the best trips  I had ever taken! It all started when I over heard my parents say " Lets go to Sea World for Alissa's birthday!" I was so excited! I couldn't wait! Then the next morning my dad came in to my room, and told me to pack my bags! We jumped in the car. By the time i knew it, we were checking into our hotel in San Antonio! The next day, after breakfest, my stepmom Shirley told me to get dressed into my swimsuit! We all got ready and went to Sea World! I had so much fun! First we saw and fed the dolphins, then we went to the waterpark. After that my dad, aunt Kim, aunt Bev, and uncle Diego decided to go on this huge ride, The Great White Shark! It was a really big ride, I said I would go on it, but thank God I was too short! Shirley decided to stay with me. As we were waiting we were talking about how much fun we had on our trip! We both realized we didn't have anything to remember this trip by. Shirley and I went to play some of the games. The game were I won the penguin had a giant hammer that you used to hit a pannel that measured how strong you were. I went first, My star didn't go so high so I asked Shirley to help! After she tried we both sarted laughing because i hit it harder than she did. On our last try, we saw a big strong man and asked him to help! He hit it so high i won a prize! I had won my penguin! I was so happy. The penguin is very special to me. I love him very much, I even named him Happy Feet!

Do you regret something you did?

One day,the first week I was living with my Dad.He had asked me were I wanted to go for fun, I said''How about Galveston?''Shirley,aunt Bevy,uncle Diego,aunt Kim,and my Dad Eric had all agreed.We all jumped into the car and started driving to a boat called the Ferry.I had never been on a boat before.While I was on the Ferry I saw three dolphin's jump at the same time it was the coolest view I ever seen.When we got off the boat,we went to a beach called the Crystal Beach.The scenery was beautiful.My dad had made a fire in the sand and started grilling hamburgers.I was so excited to get into the water,I asked Shirley if I could get in.She said ''only get in were the water is below your knees.''When she turned around to help my dad grill I swam to the deep and huge wave sucked me right in.I couldn't see my family anymore I started to freak out.I called out for help but I didn't think anyone could hear me because the water keep getting into my mouth.All of a sudden my dad came and saved me and took me to shore.I was crying and coughing after I was done crying my Dad started to yell at me because I didn't listen to Shirley right after she told me not to go to the deep and I did anyway.They were both very upset.I regret not listening to my parents because they know best and its for my own good.

What do you belive in?

I believe In setting a goal.The reason why I believe in setting a goal is because,One day the week I was living with my dad.It was the beginning of school at Mark Twain Elementary.I was getting bad grades,I really wanted my parents to be proud of me..So I decided to set a goal for at least A's and B's,but I really wanted to impress them by getting all A's.The next day when I went to school  other students started to have a conversation with me,but I ignored them and paid attention to the teachers instructions.When the assignment was passed out I followed her instructions and read the passage carefully.I took my paper to the teacher so she can check it and a grin appeared on her face.When I saw my grade I was so excited to show my dad and Shirley.They were proud of me.They even went to go buy something for me as my prize,but that was like for one time:( But I was really proud of myself .
